Asylum near Glasgow. We all meet up at 9.30 at our usual meeting point which is as always at Alex’s house. We also have two special guest members’ nikiki and Lisa who used to be in a girl group called lemonescent. As usual we all clamber into various cars and set off, us sensitive’s none the wiser as to where we could be going tonight.im now in the back seat of the dez mobile and he’s racing down the motor way at 90 + aww well just a usual night out with the ghost hunters team. As we’ve now been in the car for over half an hour im starting to get motion sickness from all the bends but the two girls beside me are scarily hyper and looking forward to an eventful evening.
  As we arrive at the end of the road leading to our destination I look out the window at the sky, the moon which seems to be eerily low is staring straight at me and as im thinking about the man in the moon I get startled by the security guard opening the gates, the girls make a joke about how we could be about to star in our own horror movie, I glance at the security guard and start to wonder if they could be right. We begin to drive up the derelict road to what I have now been told is an asylum, you may think im mad but I have to get my thrills some how. Pulling up outside the building, the architecture of the building looks amazing and this could be a very atmospheric place for a hunt
  As we all settle in to the kitchen which will be our base, maw treats us all to the flasks of tea and coffee she’s brought and also various fattening snacks .While this is going on dez along with other team members begins the base line tests .I stand nervously in the kitchen trying not to notice the lady with the curled blonde hair and ruby red lips, why you might ask? She’s not a usual member of the team she’s one of the many spirits who will join us on this night.
  We split in to two teams separating the giggly girls, and head off in to different areas of the asylum. My group consists of Alex, David Nikki, Nikki and debs and we are to explore the top half of the building. We separate and explore the many dark rooms and corridors I see what I think is a male shadow in the door way and scarper tail between my legs to tag along beside David , im not supposed to in case we confer about the notes we are taking, but there’s now way I am wandering around alone. David and I then attempt to take the stairs to one of the asylums two towers and I lead apprehensively.Walking up the winding staircase holding the banister to keep my balance, David suggests I may want to wash my hand when we finish because as he puts it there is pigeon shite all over the banister. We explore the tower taking notes along the way, I sense a small boy in one of the rooms, is he really there or is my imagination kicking in considering there is what looks like children’s desks in the room, I will let you decide. We emerge from the tower and I thank god for not letting me fall down the winding staircase as there was no way I was holding anything for support
  Meeting back at base we do not discuss anything we have seen or heard as we are about to swap areas to explore. A few cups of coffee later and we are all raring to go. My group begin to walk downstairs and onto the ground floor which again has various rooms to explore and also holds the only working toilet as the one on the top floor is inhabited by a dummy. Don’t ask. Again David and I split to take notes on anything we are picking up and yet again I seem to end up tailing behind him. I enter one of the wards and I am joined my the presence of a teenage boy who goes on to show me how he died which I take notes on and then shove to the back of my mind.
As im taking notes the door opens and debs appears, she seems to jump out of her skin I panic looking around me, it is then she fills me in on the fact that she thought I was a spirit, im very flattered, but im definitely alive as I have just pinched myself to check.
  We finish up on the ground floor and proceed even lower to the basement area; again it’s the usual drill of note taking but this time im not writing much as my hand is starting to get weary. We head back to base for yet more coffee and discuss what’s on the agenda next, its now 3 o’clock in the morning and all I can see on my agenda is the nice comfor table back seat of the dreaded dez mobile horrid as it is im quite looking forward to the journey home. But to my horror we are not finished yet as we head back up the winding stairs to the tower rooms where we prepare for a séance while Alex who has managed to get out of this one heads downstairs for a nap in the car, only to be stopped by the security guard and enticed into an hours chat about the supernatural ha ha.
  In the tower we join hands as maw recites the lords prayer to protect the circle, all is quiet as everyone tries to connect with the spirits around us, a few minutes later maw asks who is opposite her in the circle, well its me, she then goes on to explain she cannot see me as I am covered by an extremely large man, excellent, the strange thing is I know he’s there .I grip the hands im holding tightly and close my eyes, he then seems to move on to someone else. David is able to communicate with him and the spirit gives his name, he shows David and maw a few frightening images, and also frettens to shoot David, I try not to laugh as it would be near enough impossible I hope. The night gets more intense as the spirit tries to channel through maw but she’s getting pretty agitated and Rodger, another sensitive in the group is too as his severed hand (kitchen incident) is starting to hurt, so the circle is closed. We all head back to the kitchen to collect the equipment and of course another cup of coffee. The hunt is over.
  We say our goodbyes , thank the security guard and then we all wearily clamber back into the cars and begin the journey back home to recuperate and get ready for the next hunt, and who knows where we will go next? Well ask Alex I don’t have a clue!

LAW CASTLE

Law Castle-16th Feb.

On this night we were back investigating Law castle. We all met up outside and everyone was excited about what the night had in store for us all.
  Once inside some of the group started the base line tests and the rest of the group were split into two groups, one group were sent to explore the top of the castle while the other group explored the bottom part, and then later in the night they would swap over.
  On the roof of the castle, not a lot of spiritual activity was picked up on although there was some residual which was the images of people being chased around the rooftops, soldiers shooting arrows and someone being thrown over as well. And two of the sensitive’s also saw a black figure walk past one of the windows inside the castle.
  In the bedroom/sitting room at the very top of the castle there was however a lot of spiritual activity. A woman was picked up on by some of the sensitive’s , she was described as being blind in one eye and wearing a black dress with a veil over her face, she also seemed to be wanting to tell us something but we were unable to pick up much more from her. Also in this area a small boy, who seemed to be from a quite well off family, wearing short trousers, was sensed. There were also a few energies picked up in this area that seemed to be more negative.
  On the next level, where the two bedrooms are joined together, what seemed to be a black snarling dog was picked up on by all of the sensitives, and they were also being shown impressions of the dog biting someone. There were also a few male figures being picked up on, one in particular being James Hamilton who the group have came across many times before. There was also a woman picked up on by all our sensitive’s again, collectively being described as having long flowing black hair, a flowing dress, almond shaped eyes, and long curled nails, some of the sensitive’s believed she was involved in some sort of witch craft and she seemed a bit too eager to communicate through some of our sensitive’s causing them to have to leave the room.
 
After the initial investigations, tea and coffee was served as we decided which area we were going to hold a séance in, the area that was chosen was the four poster bedroom where Hamilton had been sensed.
  We opened the séance in prayer and David began by calling out to spirit to knock if they were there, which was answered by two faint knocks. There was a lot of activity in one particular corner of the room where two of the sensitive’s described what they saw as a saint in chains, they were also being shown images of not so nice things, and they thought that this was to try and scare the off. The evp recorder was also used in this room, spirit was asked to repeat a word for us and it clearly obliged. Everyone new at this point that the spirit was Hamilton and he seemed overly interested in marriane.At this point we left the room as yet again a spirit seemed to be getting too close to one of the group.
  Back in the great hall we decided to try a Ouija board, at first the pancetta did not move at all but as the energy starting building up it began to move, we soon realised that the spirit who was moving it was not interested in communicating but was simply trying to trick us so at this point we closed the board down.
  As it was now 5.30 in the morning we decided to call time, after a very eventful night at law castle, and we will most definitely be returning.

LUNAN LODGE

Here we are again on our third visit to lunan lodge all though this time it’s a bit different as we have guests to entertain. We all gather in the tv room for a cup of coffee and to be introduced to the guests before dinner.
  After dinner we all go through to the long lounge where all the equipment is, Alex then takes time to explain it all to the guests, while this is going on maw explains that she feels this is the most active area of the house and also sense a male energy which she goes on to explain a little about and also gives his name as Thomas Sebastian.
  We move back into the tv room where David explains that he has picked up on a small boy and girl, but isn’t getting much more from then, I also picked up on this.
  We then move on to the bedroom areas and into the penthouse first. Maw picks up on a boy from around 1886, in short trousers I also picked up something similar in the tv room, she also senses a leyline in this area and explains to the guests what they are and how you can detect them using dowsing rods, the guests then all get a chance to have a o of using them with various results. The guests also pick up on some flashing lights at the window, one of the guests the looks at this sceptically by telling us there is a road close by and that it could possibly be car lights. David describes a dog like entity in this area with what he describes to be a curly tail; maw also picks up on this.
  We then split into groups, and Nicky David and I and four of the guests go into the shouty mans room. In this room I sensed a little girl called Mary wearing a puffy white dress, with the age of ten, I also felt that she had been following us all night. David picked up on a male with the name Harry , he was around 6feet 2 and gave the impression he had died of a chest condition. The guests and us were also seeing a lot of lights in this room as well while in the other room maw had picked up on a male by the name George and they seemed to be getting quite good results on the evp meter. At this point I stood in for maw in bryonies room as she wasn’t feeling well.
  While in bryonies room I sensed a tall, slim male, with dark hair he was wearing dark clothes and I also had the impression that he was trying to scare us. Also in the area where I sensed him there was a high emf reading .At this point the guests seemed to be capturing a shadow passing in front of the camera which then came right up to them and startled them, after looking at this again, Alex gave the idea that it could be a shadow, was it? Well we will never know.
  Both groups then had a go at the Ouija board, maws group did not pick up on much from this but it was moving ever so slightly, the other group seemed to have more success as a little girl came forward with the name Eva and the planchette was moving quite fast as she was answering various questions that David and the guests were asking her.
  We then moved on to the loft area as some of the guests were interested in investigating it. Maw sensed a teenage boy in this area who had been hung, he was giving here two names John Wilson and Hugh Millar .S he also picked up on three distinct faces with pointy features, and I had also picked up on these on a previous visit. At this point the guests sensed a figure at the back of the loft which seemed to be changing shape and Alex explained that we had come across these before .Maw saw a vortex in this area and felt we should go back downstairs, this had also been picked up on by a sensitive on a previous visit.
  We then had a break for tea and the guests also explained that a few of them had heard horse’s hoofs outside this had also been reported before. We then decided to end on a séance, during which maw channelled a negative spirit who tried to break the circle and so Alex decided to close. We then had more coffee and a chance to discuss the night’s events.
